Questo quadro è un’opera di mixed media art contemporanea, che si colloca tra la street art da galleria e la Pop Art provocatoria. È un ritratto che colpisce immediatamente per la sua estetica cruda e il suo simbolismo stratificato.
La composizione gioca su un contrasto cromatico violento e classico: rosso e nero, spezzato solo dal tono pallido della pelle del soggetto.
Il Rosso superiore: emblema di passione, pericolo, ma anche della "Superbia" menzionata nel testo. È uno sfondo attivo, quasi carnale.

Parla di fede, peccato, morale e desiderio coesistenti sullo stesso corpo.
L'opera è piena di codici visivi che collocano il soggetto in un contesto di edonismo alternativo. Si notano chiaramente tatuaggi stilizzati, tra cui un logo che sembra un teschio o un simbolo punk/hardcore sulla spalla e altri segni codificati.
Sullo sfondo rosso, dietro il diadema, si intravede la parola "SUPERBIA". Non è scritta in modo evidente, ma è "nascosta alla vista", come se fosse l'etichetta morale che la società appone a questo tipo di figura ribelle e orgogliosa della propria identità alternativa.
