Questa serie di opere conferma un linguaggio artistico estremamente coerente, definito "Pop-Noir Materico". L'artista utilizza ritratti femminili dallo stile moderno e quasi "fashion-illustration" come base per una narrazione che mescola cultura pop, tragicità storica e un senso di ribellione punk.
In quasi tutte le opere, il volto è centrale e dominato da elementi ricorrenti: labbra rosso fuoco, occhi intensi e definiti, e una profusione di dettagli tattili come strass, catenine, croci, pluriball e oggetti di recupero (come i vinili o i pennelli). Questa scelta di "uscire" dal quadro con oggetti fisici trasforma la superficie pittorica in un oggetto di design che invade lo spazio dell'osservatore.
• Contrasti cromatici: l'uso costante del rosso (labbra/capelli) su una base prevalentemente in bianco e nero/grigio è la firma visiva che dà unità a tutta la collezione.

This series of works confirms an extremely coherent artistic language, defined as “Material Pop-Noir.” The artist uses female portraits with a modern, almost “fashion-illustration” style as the foundation for a narrative that blends pop culture, historical tragedy, and a sense of punk rebellion.
In almost all the works, the face is the central element, dominated by recurring features: fiery red lips, intense and sharply defined eyes, and a profusion of tactile details such as rhinestones, chains, crosses, bubble wrap, and found objects (such as vinyl records or paintbrushes). This choice of “stepping out” of the canvas through physical objects transforms the painted surface into a design object that extends into the viewer’s space.
• Chromatic contrasts: the constant use of red (lips/hair) against a predominantly black, white, and grey background is the visual signature that gives unity to the entire collection.
• Sacred vs. Profane: the frequent inclusion of religious symbols (crosses, rosaries) on subjects expressing transgression (smoking, provocative gestures, rebellious aesthetics) appears to suggest an inner conflict or a critique of contemporary morality.
• Materiality: the addition of non-painted elements (vinyl records, paintbrushes, feathers, plastic) is fundamental: these are not merely paintings to be viewed, but objects to be experienced and “read” through touch.
